Multiple talks swirling around after day 1 of the GM meetings in Orlando Florida. Top rumor is Troy Tulowitski and his mutual interest in signing a long term contract with the St. Louis Cardinals. Obviously St. Louis would have to give up multiple top prospects including some of the young pitchers that got them to the World Series this year, but with the loss of Carlos Beltran they are in desperate search for a big bat, one that Tulo would fill perfectly.

Also according to the Yankees are the top team in running for all free agents. But none are as important to the Yankees as Carlos Beltran, who was one of the 13 players that turned down their one year deal offered from their previous teams yesterday.

The Dodgers have strong interest in Rays pitcher and previous Cy Young winner David Price. The Tigers have made it known to all other teams that they will be shopping both Rick Porcello and Max Scherzer this offseason, the Tigers are also making a strong play on Texas Rangers closer Joe Nathan, according to multiple reports. Lastly the Cubs are not showing interest in re-signing starting pitcher Jeff Samardzija, while the Washington Nationals are in search for a starter and have shown interest in Samardzija.
